Holiday Gift Guide for Athletes
This Year’s Holiday Gift Guide
Hey friends!
As we head into the holidays, I wanted to share some of my favorite products for athletes and active humans alike so I created a little holiday gift guide for athletes! Everything linked is something that I use personally, and recommend to others. Where possible, you’ll also see affiliate codes and links to other businesses I feel good about working with as a small business. I am also running my annual Black Friday sale for Stevie Lyn Nutrition with discounts on different classes, my membership (The Keep it Real Collab), and e-books to help you (or someone you care about!) improve their nutrition for health and performance. You can use the code SLS25 starting today through Monday December 2nd!

You can also build your own box to have on a monthly subscription or just show for your favorites when you need using this link
For a comprehensive blood work check-in, get a discount on the InsideTracker Ultimate Panel using code SLSNUTRITIONPRO. I’ve used this as a tool 2-3 times per year since 2016 and highly recommend it to my clients looking to take a deep dive into their symptoms or stay on top of their overall health. You can always book a call to review your results and which actions to take to address and improve your blood work.
Browse my favorite supplements and get 10% off at Fullscript. Bonus: once joining you’ll be in the know when there are additional discounts available.
For swimmers/triathletes:
Goggles: Roka R1– I love clear for the pool and mirrored for open water swimming!
Pool toys: Finis agility paddles, TYR pull buoy, and Finis zoomer fins to work on different drills and skills at the pool
Training suit: it took me awhile to find them but thanks to my swimmer/swammer friends I have never looked back after buying my first Jolyn training suit. With cuts, coverage, and colors for every-body and material that doesn’t fade or stretch, there’s something for every swimmer. I also have a cute sport/surf two-piece for sitting by the pool or paddle boarding.
Tired of wet hair ties after you pop your cap off? I loooove teleties to keep my overly thick and luscious mane in place under my swim cap and in my top knot in the day to day. They have lots of options in colors, patterns, and sizes to work best with your hair type and needs!
For the swim itchies: any of these lotions that fits your skin type and preferences.
Extra hair care: my favorite leave-in conditioner to use post-swim.
For runners:
Socks: for every day runs, I love these comfy Balega socks. For chilly, slushy, and rainy runs, I love any of Smartwool running socks.
Sneakers: I have been trying a number of daily trainers and haven’t found a new pair that I absolutely loved but, my Brooks Glycerin GTS have always been a constant in my rotation over the last decade.
Handheld bottle: I have tried many handheld hydration options but by far my favorite and ‘go-to’ is Nathan’s ExoDraw handheld. The soft flask makes it comfortable and easy to adjust to if you’re not used to carrying fluids on the run.
Hydration vest: for longer efforts or those with higher hydration needs, Nathan’s Pinnacle 4 liter is comfortable and has the capability to carry not just your fluids but also fuel.
For dark runs and walks, I love the NoxGear tracer vest (and the chest light you can purchase in addition is super bright!). Bonus: if you have a furry running or walking buddy, they can match you in the Lighthound harness.
Say goodbye to chafing with Body Glide (a great stocking stuffer for other runners in your family)
For anyone who loves to be outside and in the sun:
After having a diagnosis of stage 1 basal cell carcinoma on my face this past year, we have launched even deeper into ‘sunscreen mode’. ThinkSport sunscreen has a great zinc based SPF50 face lotion I use regularly, along with other body and skin lotion or spray options. This sweat/water-resistant and non-toxic option also promotes sustainability. Be sure to check them out!
For those looking for new recipes/meal ideas:
Favorite cooking/kitchen tools:
Crockpot: with different sizes available for any household size, this crockpot also steams and sautees making it a multifaceted tool for quick and easy meals.
To dry bike water bottles: made for baby bottles this drying rack does a great job to allow all those bottles to dry properly. (read: and not get moldy!)
On-the-go hydration: there are tons of options of emotional support water vessels. Right now I am in a rotation of a Hydrojug (loooove that it doesn’t spill if it’s tipped over!) and my handy Hydroflask.
For packing snacks or lunches on the go, I grab my variety of stasher bags to keep things in place and reduce a little waste.
Nutribullet: super powerful blender great for smoothies, sauces, even soups!
Air Fryer: I use mine for anything from cooking salmon to making sweet potato fries, and even for baking. This one has a 7 QT capacity so you can cook for yourself or the whole fam.
